One of my best friends, Becky, got engaged on Sunday February 3rd! The best part was that I got to be a part of it. Becky was visiting from out of state this weekend to do our Christmas exchange. I know, how lame that we had to wait until February to exchange gifts, this just happened to be the weekend that worked out best for all 5 of us.Her fiance drove up on Sunday to surprise her. We had to keep our excitement, giggles, and our 'i-know-something-that-you-dont-know' looks to ourselves the entire weekend! We went out to eat lunch on Sunday and timed it so that when we got back we would have enough time to give her a small gift with a note inside. The note said "There is a surprise at the door". When she opened it He was standing there with roses and the ring! Such a great idea. It was fun because we got to photo document the process.
It's always fun seeing a friend happy and in love. I look forward to the fall wedding.
