I was lucky enough today to go to IKEA with Amy, Aaron, and Darin. I love going there, seeing the newest prints, fabrics, trinkets, and furniture is so much fun. I could spend a fortune there, for sure. I bought these 2 coordinating mini bowls for a grand total of $3.99.

Old Fashioned Things

I thoroughly enjoyed Nancy Drew. As Maren and I watched it yesterday, we adored her vintage style and enjoyed the storyline! A clean and entertaining movie, I give it two thumbs up.

I would like to be more clever, like Nancy Drew.

PUZI-PUZI HELPS


While I was taking photos of items to post on Etsy, Puzi jumped on the table and started posing for the camera. I guess she wanted to help! haha. I've really been enjoying my time spent crafting, photographing, and posting items for sale. It's been a lot of fun. We even made 3 sales over the weekend. I'd say that's a pretty good start!

STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY

Chances are, if you use inexpensive quality stock photos in print, you'll see them come around in someone else's work. For example, this image was used in someone's Myspace group avatar. The other designer at my job used the exact image in an article in our missions magazine we published 2 years ago.

Oh well, it really is a neat photo.

I have to admit, when i saw what my sister found at the thrift store, i was a little jealous. She got hers for only $4.

Not only was it entertaining and hilarious, but it was also unpredictable. Plus, it had a good ending. Go see it.
